Rockettower Plaza Stage was formerly referred
to as the Tomorrowland Stage Stage. This stage is only rivaled by the Castle Forefront stage. If a big name
performer did not make it on the Castle stage they will probably be performing
here. The stage is located in front of the old Skyway station near Space
Mountain. The Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover runs directly behind it.
This is a fairly large stage with only a few viewing problems. There are
not a lot of trees to block the view so that is not a big issue. The crowd
does tend to blend into the Space Mountain line at the left side of the viewing
area if the queue for Space Mountain becomes large. Also the sound and
lighting booth is located not that far away from the stage and can block views
of those near the back of the viewing area. Otherwise this is a great
stage. It is also fun to be able to here the performers here while on some
of the attractions such as the Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover or the Astro
Orbitor.
