 Welcome to the Hollywood that never was, and always will be.  The new home of Disney's Night of Joy has moved from the Magic Kingdom after 25 years to the recently renamed Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Night of Joy 2008 was the first hard ticket event held at the Hollywood Studios.  Due to this the event was much different than past Night of Joys.  All of the venues were new.  The biggest change will be in the type and number of attractions available during Night of Joy.  Disney's Hollywood Studios has a few more intense attractions than the Magic Kingdom, including the Rock and Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.  The major difference is than on the whole there are fewer attractions than at the Magic Kingdom,  which will mean a significant increase in the wait times to ride any of them.  The advantage Disney's Hollywood Studios has is in bigger concert venues.  While which venues will be used during the vent they include The Beauty and the Beast Stage, Fantasmic, the Sorcerer's Hat stage, Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular Stage, The Backlot Stage, and the Lights, Motors, Action arena.  The park is divided not into distinct lands like the Magic Kingdom but into general areas that include, Hollywood Boulevard, Sunset Strip, Echo Lake, the Backlot, Streets of America, Animation Courtyard, and Pixar Place.  Descriptions of each area and the attractions they contain can be found by using the Links at the left.
