Night of Joy 2005 took place on September 9 and 10. The park was open to Night of Joy guests from 7:30pm to 12:30am each night (4:00pm for people with group tickets). This year is Walt Disney World is celebrating 50 years of theme park magic with the anniversary of Disneyland. The Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom is decorated with new gold trimming and other adornments. The entertainment line-up for Night of Joy includes 19 artists spread across 2 nights. The event was the advertising start for Disney Pictures/ Walden Media's production of the Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Night of Joy will be the premiere performance of some of the music that will be in the motion picture. Every person that attends the event will receive a complimentary CD of music featuring some of the performers at Night of Joy.
