dc Talk is one of the most popular groups in Christian music. They
started as a Christian rap group but as major tastes in music have changed so
has their style. They have progressed from rap to hip-hop to alternative
to pop. It is probably these changes that have helped to keep this group
popular for many years. Currently the members of dc Talk have recorded
solo projects under the titles of Toby Mac and Tate.
Michael Tate is currently the frontman for the Newsboys.
DC Talk has performed at both Night of Joy and Rock
the Universe.
