World Expo is at the far end of Universal Studios Florida. Here, buildings are based on the look of past world's fairs. The Men In Black building is based on the 1964-65 New York World's Fair. The closer section to the entrance of the park is now based on Springfield, the setting for the Simpsons. In addition to the Simpsons ride that has been at Universal, there are new restaurants based on Moe's Tavern, Krusty Burger and other locations from the show. There is also a new spinner attraction Kang and Kodos' Twirl and Hurl. Plus due to the ongoing construction of Harry Potter's new Diagon Alley section of the park, Fear Factor Live is now classified as being part of World Expo, when formerly it was part of the now defunct Amity section of the park. |
