This is a direct comparison of Orlando's two major Christian music festivals, Disney's Night of Joy and Universal's Rock the Universe.

Opening Times Disney's Magic Kingdom Park opens at 4pm for group ticket admission and opens at 7pm for single ticket admission. Universal Studios opens at 4pm for all Rock the Universe guests.  The park itself closes to all regular day guests at 7pm.
Closing Times Night of Joy concludes at 1am. Rock the Universe ends at 1am
Performers Night of Joy tends to have performers mostly from the pop and adult contemporary formats of music.  However, they do include some rock acts. Rock the Universe tends to have groups that are more in the rock and alternative music formats.  Six completely different groups perform each night.

Attraction closing times. Major attractions at Disney's Hollywood Studios will be operating during Night of Joy.  Only 2 of the live stages, the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, and Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage, will be shown during Night of Joy. Most attractions are open until the end of the event with the exception of some minor stage shows.

Queue pass service Disney's Fast Pass is free to all guests at major attractions.  However, since the event doesn't start until at least 4pm most fast passes will have been distributed for the day by the start of the event. Universal offers Universal Express at a cost of $15.00 per person.  This allows 1 express entry to each attraction once during the event.  This pass is only good during Rock the Universe.
Ministry Night of Joy usually has a break area for youth chaperones Rock the Universe has an entire Praise and Worship event usually held before the main performances in the Animal Actors Stage, usually with a nationally recognized speaker and a smaller name band.  In addition Rock the Universe also hosts a Sunday Morning worship service in the park available free to all with a Rock the Universe ticket (RSVP is required)
