A short film about the life and times of Walt Disney. Narrated
by Julie Andrews, the film explores Walt's life from simple Kansas City farm boy
to one of Hollywood's most influential producers. The film shows both
Walt's struggles as an independent film maker and triumphs in creations such as
Mickey Mouse and Disneyland.
The queue here is almost more of an attraction than the film
presentation. There are displays highlighting everything in the history of
both Walt Disney's life, and the history of the Walt Disney company. There
are photos, maquettes from the animated films, posters, dioramas, blueprints
from the theme parks, and models of some of the attractions. There are
even displays of some of the audio animatronic figures. The last part of
the queue is currently being used as a display area of the history of Disney's
Hollywood Studios as it is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
